If you are an experienced home health aide who enjoys varied activities that help people lead more independent lives, we’d love to talk to you! We are seeking a kind and compassionate home health aide who has excellent communication and companionship skills to provide basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so our patients are empowered to live happily at home. You must have 1-3 years of experience in home health implementing care plans, and make your patients’ health and safety your first priority. Responsibilities

Oversee medication tasks such as opening bottles, organizing self-administered dosing and arranging refills; and assist with meal preparation and planning
Assist patients in completing personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, shaving, etc.
Execute basic medical tasks such as replacing bandages and dressings, taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices
Transport patients as needed to doctor’s offices or other health care services, grocery shopping, or for other errands
Collaborate with the case manager to implement care plans for patients, and maintain updated and accurate care records

Qualifications

Some college preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required
Carry a valid state driver’s license, current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation
Must have 1-3 years of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/ home health aide, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency at patient homes or care facilities setting
Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is highly valuable- approved home health aide training programs from community colleges are accepted

Compensation

$25 - $30/hour
