Join our team at the Sheraton Cypress Creek as a Guest Service Agent. The Guest Service Agent in a hotel is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with luggage and other requests.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and calm manner.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest records.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure guest needs are met.
- Upsell hotel services and amenities to guests.
- Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Anticipate and prevent potential problems.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members to resolve issues.
- May be required to assist with other tasks as needed, such as answering phones, taking messages, or directing guests.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems and other relevant software.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and move around the hotel.
