• Lead overall hotel operations, ensuring consistent execution across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast/guest services
• Drive guest satisfaction scores (GSS/Press Ganey/OTA reviews) with a focus on post-renovation experience and brand positioning
• Establish and maintain a strong service culture aligned with Marriott/Fairfield brand standards
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and expense control
• Maximize revenue through effective yield management, rate strategy collaboration, and market positioning
• Lead, hire, train, and develop department heads and staff to ensure high performance and accountability
• Implement operational systems and SOPs to stabilize and elevate performance after renovation completion
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and property-level purchasing decisions
• Ensure full compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and cleanliness expectations
• Partner with sales teams to grow corporate, group, and local negotiated business
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate with ownership on capital needs
• Lead daily standups, property inspections, and regular performance reviews
• Strengthen online reputation through proactive guest engagement and recovery processes
• Act as primary liaison between ownership, brand representatives, and management company leadership
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability

• 3–7+ years of hotel management experience, preferably in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role
• Prior experience with Marriott International brands strongly preferred (Fairfield, Courtyard, Residence Inn, or similar select-service properties)
• Proven track record of leading hotel operations, ideally in a renovated, repositioned, or ramp-up property environment
• Strong understanding of hotel financials, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
• Demonstrated ability to drive guest satisfaction scores and improve online reputation (OTA platforms and brand metrics)
• Experience leading and developing teams, including department heads and hourly associates
• Strong revenue management awareness with the ability to partner effectively with sales and revenue teams
• Knowledge of brand standards, quality assurance programs, and operational audits
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with hotel systems (PMS, brand systems, and reporting tools)
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred, but not required
