The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability.
- Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team.
- Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists.
- Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance.
- Handle guest complaints and queries, promoting exceptional customer service.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
Compensation
$70,000
