Are you a hands-on leader who thrives on driving performance and inspiring people? We’re hiring a General Manager to take charge of daily operations, team development, and strategic execution. This role is perfect for someone who’s equal parts coach, decision-maker, and problem-solver.
Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records
- Conduct daily check-ins with department heads to align on priorities and maintain operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards
- Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team
- Partner with leadership on planning, reporting, and long-term vision
- Create and sustain a strong culture of customer service and operational excellence
- Lead and manage daily operations across departments to ensure a seamless workflow
- Build and develop a high-performing team through hiring, training, and ongoing coaching
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Monitor key metrics and financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a hotel General Manager
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively
- Well-versed in using dashboards, KPIs, and workflow systems to manage day-to-day operations
- Brings a proactive mindset and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing complexity
- Preferred: Holds a degree in Business, Management, or a related field
- A strong grasp of budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting
- Mandatory Choice Brand Specific knowledge- 1 minimum year
- Mandatory 2-year Extended Stay Hotel Management
- Adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understands how to read financials and use them to drive smart decisions
- The ability to lead by example, resolve conflict, and create a cohesive team environment
- Is a confident communicator who leads with empathy and clarity
Compensation
$70,000 - $75,000/year
