• Quality Control: They verify that each plate matches the ticket, checking that all modifications and special allergy requests are met before leaving the kitchen.
• Seamless Service: By running trays of food, they free up servers to take orders, sell drinks, and entertain guests.
• Table Maintenance: They bring extra silverware, napkins, and condiments to tables as needed while observing guests to see if they require anything else.
• Menu Knowledge: They must be able to confidently identify dishes and explain ingredients when placing meals in front of customers.
