Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor/Restaurant Manager

Koosh Collection is looking for a professional, energetic, and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage team. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately, helping ensure that every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and works closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain efficient restaurant operations.

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately.

• Verify table numbers, food items, and special requests before delivering orders.

• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth service.

• Follow instructions regarding food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special modifications, and verify any questions with the kitchen or supervisor before serving.

• Ensure dishes are presented properly and meet the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.

• Assist servers with delivering additional items and responding to guest requests.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen pass, service stations, and assigned areas.

• Help clear and reset tables as needed to support the service team.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and safe food-handling procedures.

• Report delays, incorrect orders, missing items, or guest concerns to the appropriate team member immediately.

• Maintain a professional appearance, a positive attitude, and courteous communication with guests and colleagues.

• Perform opening, closing, and other duties as assigned by management.

• Previous food runner, server assistant, or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.

• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks during busy service periods.

• Professional attitude and willingness to assist other team members.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to carry food trays and transport dishes safely.

• Ability to move efficiently between the kitchen and dining areas.

• Ability to perform physical duties associated with restaurant operations, with or without reasonable accommodation.
