Field Service Technician
Stalmic Distributors, Inc. • Lakeland, FL, US
Posted 3 hours ago
Stalmic Distributors is on a mission to help feed communities, and our Field Service Technicians play a direct role in making that happen.
You do not need to come to us already knowing meat-room or food-processing equipment. We provide on-the-job training so you can learn how to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment such as wrappers, saws, slicers, grinders, dicers, vacuum machines, scales, tenderizers, and other food-processing and packaging equipment.
Once trained, you will travel in a company vehicle to customer locations in your assigned service area. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to break/fix calls, and help customers keep critical equipment operating. This role is a good fit for someone who likes solving mechanical problems, working independently, traveling, and being trusted to take care of customers.
Service technicians are generally on the road during the week and home on most weekends. Technicians rotate weekend and holiday on-call coverage with the rest of the service team. Stalmic provides the company vehicle, phone, tablet, and company card needed to do the job, and approved travel expenses such as fuel, meals, and hotels are paid by the company.
Stalmic maintains a safe and drug-free workplace. Applicants must be able to pass and maintain the ability to pass a drug screen, MVR check, and background check.
