Family Law Senior Paralegal

Moore Family Law GroupCorona, CA, US

Posted 1 hour ago

Moore Family Law Group is a growing, accomplished legal team with a proven track record of protecting clients' financial assets and best interests during the most challenging chapters of their lives. With locations in Corona, Newport Beach, and Beverly Hills, we've built efficient systems and a collaborative culture where excellence is the standard, not the exception. We are a team in the truest sense. We share feedback, improve systems together, learn new tools, and hold ourselves collectively accountable to performing at our best. If you bring your A-game and a growth mindset, you'll find a firm that meets you there.

We're looking for a sharp, experienced Family Law Senior Paralegal who takes full ownership of their caseload, serves as a primary point of contact for clients, and functions as a genuine resource and leader within our legal support team, working side-by-side with our attorneys to keep cases moving with precision and purpose.

This is a high-volume, client-facing role. You'll need to be as comfortable drafting a complex pleading as you are speaking with a client navigating one of the hardest moments of their life. If you're an experienced paralegal ready to plug in, take ownership, and grow, MFLG is the right place.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a full caseload with minimal supervision, serving as a reliable resource and sounding board for attorneys

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients — communicating proactively, professionally, and with genuine compassion throughout the life of each case

  • Prepare and maintain detailed case notes and lead productive case meetings

  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence including RFOs, motions, DVROs, judgments, interrogatories, subpoenas, demands, and deposition notices

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of trial preparation — organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, conducting research, and supporting client meetings

  • Maintain meticulous calendaring, tasking, and note-keeping across all active cases — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch

  • Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of family law judicial council forms, family court procedure, California Rules of Court, and the California Code of Civil Procedure

  • Interview clients to gather case-relevant information with professionalism and sensitivity

  • Track billable time accurately and consistently

  • Embrace new tools and technology that improve workflow and case management efficiency across the team

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of solid, hands-on family law paralegal experience — you know your way around a caseload and can hit the ground running

  • Deep familiarity with family law judicial council forms, pleadings, family court procedure, California Rules of Court, and CCP

  • Experience with case management systems and CRM platforms (Clio experience is a plus)

  • Proven ability to track and manage billable time accurately

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: professional, clear, and compassionate by phone, email, and in person

  • Strong organizational instincts and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines without losing your composure

  • A collaborative, team-first mindset paired with the confidence and competence to work independently

  • A growth mindset: you welcome feedback, share what you learn, and make the people around you better
