The Radchenko Law Group, PLLC is a Plano-based family law and personal injury firm serving clients across Collin, Denton, Dallas, and Tarrant Counties. We’re adding a Family Law Paralegal to our team and are open to candidates with little or no paralegal experience. If you’re organized, dependable, and want to build a career in family law, we’ll give you the training to get there.

In this role, you’ll support our attorneys on divorce, custody, child support, and post-decree modification and enforcement matters. You’ll help move cases from the initial client meeting through final decree. That means drafting pleadings and discovery, managing deadlines and court settings, organizing financial and evidentiary documents, and keeping clients informed along the way. You’ll learn the work hands-on, side by side with attorneys who will invest in your development, and you’ll take on more responsibility as your skills grow.

This is a full-time, in-office position at our Plano office.

Working under the supervision of our attorneys, you will:

  • Case management. Open new family law matters, set up client files in our case management system (Filevine), and keep each file organized and current. You’ll calendar filing deadlines, discovery due dates, hearings, mediations, and trial settings, and you’ll track them so nothing slips.

  • Drafting and filing. Prepare first drafts of petitions, answers, counter-petitions, temporary orders, discovery requests and responses, inventories, and proposed orders from firm templates, then revise them based on attorney feedback. You’ll e-file documents through eFileTexas, coordinate service of process, and confirm that filings are accepted and docketed.

  • Discovery and evidence. Gather, organize, and index client documents, such as bank and retirement statements, tax returns, pay records, and communications. You’ll prepare discovery productions, track what the other side has produced, and build exhibit binders for mediation, hearings, and trial.

  • Client communication. Act as a regular point of contact for clients. You’ll schedule meetings, request documents, send case updates, and answer procedural questions. Family law clients are often under a great deal of stress, so we expect patience, discretion, and professionalism in every interaction. You won’t give legal advice; you’ll route those questions to the attorney.

  • Court and mediation support. Coordinate hearing and mediation dates with opposing counsel, courts, and mediators. You’ll prepare hearing notebooks and help attorneys get ready for court.

  • General support. Handle correspondence, maintain billing time entries, and help with other firm tasks as needed.

  • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
  • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education
  • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired
