Our law group is growing, and we are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of family law. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations, such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. • Help effectively solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and marital settlement agreements; handle the division of marital assets, judgments, and orders for family law cases
• Attend court proceedings as needed to ensure effective representation of clients
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
• Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps
• Engage in matter management to ensure timely progress in all cases
• Confirm all work is consistently quality-reviewed for case law and written content/clarity

• Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina and have 4+ years of family law experience
