Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. • Help effectively solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action

• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and marital settlement agreements; handle the division of marital assets, judgments, and orders for family law cases

• Attend court proceedings as needed to ensure effective representation of clients

• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process

• Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps

• Engage in matter management to ensure timely progress in all cases

• Confirm all work is consistently quality-reviewed for case law and written content/clarity

• Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina and have 1-2 years of family law experience
