Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today’s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect!

Responsibilities

Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action

Qualifications

Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Michigan or candidate scheduled to take the Bar Exam in Michigan

Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
Ability to use Microsoft Office is required

Compensation

$80,000 - $120,000 yearly
