- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases
- Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process
- Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
- Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed
Experience in family law, with two to five years of practice in divorce, child custody, and domestic violence cases.
Ability to draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and marital settlement agreements, with precision and clarity.
Proven track record of effectively representing clients in court hearings and negotiations, ensuring their rights are protected.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with senior partners, paralegals, and clients, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Ability to maintain organized and up-to-date client files, ensuring all information is readily accessible and accurate.
Experience in managing the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.
Proficiency in strategizing and deciding on appropriate legal courses of action based on client needs and case analysis.
- Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants
- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
Compensation
$75,000 - $110,000
