Cannon & Associates is seeking an Experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our Edmond team of Fierce Advocates.

The paralegal we hire will play a critical role in supporting attorneys, guiding clients, and helping cases move efficiently from start to finish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, a commitment to client service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with all aspects of family law cases
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Maintain case files and manage deadlines
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Coordinate with court staff and opposing counsel
- Help clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the legal process
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive information is crucial in this role
Qualifications
- Must have a strong understanding of family law procedures, legal terminology, and court rules specific to Oklahoma
- Should possess a proactive and self-motivated attitude, showcasing the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are required to effectively manage multiple cases
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary for clear and concise client communication
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is essential, along with being technically savvy
- Experience with Clio Manage is considered a plus
- 2 years of experience is considered a plus
Compensation
$45,000 - $60,000/year
