Are you an experienced acupuncturist who loves what you do—and would like the opportunity to do more of it?

We're looking for an exceptional Illinois Licensed Acupuncturist to join our clinical team in Downers Grove.

This is a part-time employee position involving 15-20 hours per week, not a room-rental or independent-contractor opportunity. You'll become an integral part of a multidisciplinary practice where acupuncture is already incorporated into patient care—not an add-on service that you have to build from scratch.

Our acupuncturist treats both patients referred internally as part of comprehensive treatment plans and patients seeking acupuncture for stand-alone concerns.

We're looking for someone with excellent clinical skills who enjoys being busy, works well as part of a team, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to patient outcomes.

Why this position is different

You won't be sitting in a treatment room hoping someone remembers the clinic offers acupuncture.

Acupuncture is part of what we do.

When clinically appropriate, it is incorporated into multidisciplinary treatment plans alongside chiropractic and rehabilitation. You'll also have the opportunity to work independently with patients whose primary needs are best addressed through acupuncture.

That means you'll have both internal patient flow and your own acupuncture caseload, while being supported by an established clinical and administrative team.

We want someone who takes pride in being an excellent acupuncturist—not someone who has to become a salesperson or run a business on the side just to stay busy.

• Provide high-quality acupuncture treatments tailored to individual patient needs

• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with clinic standards

• Collaborate with chiropractic and clinical staff to support integrated patient care

• Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment goals, progress, and recommendations

• Ensure a positive, professional, and comfortable patient experience

• Maintain treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment in a clean and organized manner

• Adhere to all Illinois licensing requirements, safety standards, and clinic protocols

• Perform dry needling and/or adjunct therapies as appropriate

• Capability with cupping and other related therapy aspects

• Recommend supportive therapies or follow-up care when indicated

• Assist in maintaining an efficient and on-time treatment schedule

• Are an Illinois Licensed Acupuncturist with solid clinical experience

• Are confident treating musculoskeletal conditions as well as a broad range of stand-alone acupuncture concerns

• Enjoy working collaboratively with chiropractors and rehabilitation professionals

• Are comfortable treating patients whose care may include a combination of chiropractic, rehabilitation and acupuncture

• Communicate well with both patients and other members of the clinical team

• Are confident recommending an appropriate frequency and course of acupuncture care

• Enjoy developing strong patient relationships and helping patients understand the value of continued care when appropriate

• Are dependable, energetic and genuinely enjoy a busy clinical environment

• Have experience with cupping and/or dry needling — a definite plus

• Want a long-term position where your skills and experience are genuinely valued
