Our physical office is located in Bountiful, Utah, near Salt Lake City. We are open to this position being in-office, hybrid, or potentially fully remote for the right candidate, depending on experience, fit, and the applicant's ability to work effectively virtually and hold team members accountable remotely.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS / HIGH-LEVEL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Residential Real Estate Sales Team
Operations, Systems, and Transaction Management

HOW TO APPLY

To be considered for this position, please complete both steps below:

  1. Submit your application along with a cover letter explaining why you believe you would be a good fit for this position based on what we are looking for

  2. Then be on the lookout for a second email to complete the DISC assessment.

You may explain why you are the right fit in whatever format communicates it best, whether that is a written email, a video (please send URL), or something else. We want to understand your experience, abilities, and why you believe we should speak further.

The DISC assessment will help us evaluate whether the position may be a good fit, but the decision to speak further will not be based solely on your DISC results. More emphasis will be placed on your experience and how you explain why you believe you are the right person for this role.

LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY

The transaction coordination responsibilities are not intended to be permanent.

As the company grows and our transaction processes are running smoothly, this person will help hire and train a Transaction Coordinator to take over the day-to-day transactional work.

They will then transition fully into the Director of Operations role, overseeing the company’s operations, systems, team accountability, and continued growth.

Long-term, this person will also help:

  • Recruit and onboard agents and other team members

  • Build a consistent and repeatable onboarding process

  • Help agents understand and commit to their production goals

  • Hold agents accountable to the goals and numbers they set

  • Organize ongoing team meetings, training, and accountability

  • Oversee team members and ensure they are following established systems

  • Continue identifying and solving operational bottlenecks

  • Document and improve processes throughout the company

WORK LOCATION

This is ideally an in-person position, and our strong preference is to find someone who can regularly work from our office.

However, we are open to a hybrid arrangement for the right person, with most work performed remotely and the person coming into the office at least once or twice per week.

We may also consider a fully remote candidate if they are exceptionally strong at building systems, creating accountability, and managing people virtually. As the team grows and more agents work in person, the ability to be physically present will become increasingly valuable.

COMPENSATION

The starting salary for this position will be approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities.

As the company grows, this role has the potential to develop into a high multiple-six-figure leadership position.

INITIAL ROLE

Initially, this person will wear multiple hats and step into the Transaction Coordinator role while also working on operational projects and improving our systems.

The primary focus at first will be managing a high volume of transactions at the same time, primarily seller transactions but buyer transactions as well, from the time a client signs with us through closing.

This person will be responsible for the administrative side of each transaction, including getting listings ready and live on the market, managing paperwork and deadlines, communicating regularly with clients and other parties, processing properties once they go under contract, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The goal is to remove the administrative responsibilities from our agents and negotiators so they can stay focused on sales, negotiations, and bringing in more business.

At the same time, this person will help us:

  • Identify and solve current operational bottlenecks

  • Build, document, and improve processes

  • Streamline our transaction systems and workflows

  • Create greater consistency and accountability across the team

  • Manage projects and make sure they are completed

  • Find more efficient ways to organize and operate the business

  • Improve the experience for clients and team members

  • Solve new operational challenges as the company grows

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The right person will:

  • Have several years of residential real estate experience

  • Have experience as a Director of Operations, Operations Manager, high-level Executive Assistant, Transaction Coordinator, or in a similar role

  • Ideally have experience working with a high-producing real estate team

  • Be comfortable managing a high volume of transactions at the same time

  • Have strong transaction coordination and client communication skills

  • Be extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Have a strong builder mentality

  • Be skilled at creating, documenting, implementing, and improving systems

  • Be able to identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions

  • Be proactive and able to solve problems without constant direction

  • Be comfortable managing projects and holding others accountable

  • Be comfortable wearing multiple hats during a period of growth

  • Be capable of recruiting, onboarding, and supporting agents as the team grows

  • Know how to create accountability both in person and virtually

  • Want to grow into a major long-term leadership role within the company

If you have worked as a high-level Executive Assistant and have helped organize a business, manage projects, improve processes, solve operational problems, or hold a team accountable, we encourage you to apply. You do not need to have previously held the Director of Operations title.

Compensation

$80,000 - $100,000 yearly

We are a growing residential real estate sales team looking for a highly organized operations professional with a strong builder mentality.
