About the Opportunity

Lulich & Attorneys, P.A. is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our growing Estate Planning team.

This is a substantive, hands-on role for a paralegal who will work closely with attorneys throughout the entire estate planning process—from gathering and analyzing client information through drafting, execution, trust funding, and post-signing follow-up.

The ideal candidate understands estate planning concepts, takes ownership of assigned matters, produces consistently accurate work, and can independently move files forward while keeping the supervising attorney informed of issues requiring legal review.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop significant estate planning experience and become an integral part of a growing practice.

What We Are Looking For

This position requires more than strong administrative skills. We are seeking a paralegal who can take ownership of files, understand the purpose behind the documents being prepared, recognize when something does not look right, and help attorneys efficiently manage a growing estate planning caseload.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate planning, probate, elder law, trusts and estates, or a related practice area.

  • Working knowledge of estate planning documents and terminology.

  • Strong legal document drafting and proofreading skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • The ability to review multiple documents within an estate plan for consistency.

  • Strong organizational and case-management skills.

  • The ability to manage numerous active client matters and competing deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A professional and compassionate approach when communicating with clients regarding sensitive family and financial matters.

  • The ability to work independently within established attorney supervision and firm procedures.

  • Strong judgment regarding when an issue should be elevated to an attorney.

  • A proactive approach to deadlines, follow-up, and outstanding assignments.

  • Strong technology skills and the ability to learn new legal software quickly.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive client information.

You may be an excellent fit if you:

  • Take ownership of a matter instead of simply completing individual assignments.

  • Notice inconsistencies and errors that others might overlook.

  • Understand that a single incorrect name, beneficiary, fiduciary designation, or legal description can have significant consequences.

  • Enjoy drafting and working with complex legal documents.

  • Are highly organized and naturally keep track of what still needs to be completed.

  • Follow up without needing repeated reminders.

  • Are comfortable managing numerous matters at different stages of the estate planning process.

  • Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and attorneys.

  • Ask thoughtful questions when something does not make sense.

  • Welcome feedback and continually look for ways to improve your work.

  • Enjoy technology and are willing to learn new systems and tools.

  • Want to develop deeper expertise in estate planning.

  • Are looking for a long-term career opportunity rather than simply your next job.
