Estate Planning Paralegal

Elderly Care Law Firm • Miami, FL, US

Posted 22 hours ago

We're looking for an experienced paralegal who takes pride in doing things the right way, cares about people, and enjoys being part of a team that supports one another.

The clients we serve are often navigating some of the most important and emotional decisions of their lives. They may be planning for the future, caring for an aging parent, handling the loss of a loved one, or trying to protect everything they've worked hard to build. How we communicate matters just as much as the legal work itself.

We're looking for someone who is positive, dependable, attentive, and proactive. Someone who follows through, communicates well, notices details, and takes initiative without waiting to be asked. We value people who genuinely enjoy helping others and who want to be part of a supportive team where everyone contributes.

  • Organize and maintain case files to ensure documents are accurate, complete, and easily accessible

  • Assist attorneys in preparing estate planning, probate, trust administration, elder law, and Medicaid planning documents

  • Gather client information and maintain detailed case notes

  • Prepare estate planning documents, correspondence, and supporting documentation

  • Assist with probate and trust administration matters, including drafting and filing required documents

  • Coordinate client meetings, document signings, and follow-up communications

  • Communicate regularly with clients, courts, financial institutions, and other professionals

  • Help keep matters moving forward by identifying next steps and following through on tasks

  • 3+ years of experience working in a law firm setting

  • Estate planning, probate, elder law, trust administration, or Medicaid planning experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously

  • Paralegal certificate, Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience preferred

  • Must reside in Miami-Dade County

Compensation

$50,000 - $65,000 yearly

We are a growing South Florida law firm serving individuals and families in estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, and veterans benefits.

Our work is personal. Clients often come to us during important, stressful, or life-changing moments, and we believe they deserve excellent legal service delivered by people who genuinely care.

We are ambitious about growth, but growth alone is not the goal.

We want to build an exceptional firm where clients feel cared for, team members are proud to work, leaders take ownership, commitments mean something, and people work together toward a common purpose.

Our core values guide how we work and how we treat people:

Positivity • Dependability • Initiative • Attentive Communication • Service-Mindedness

We believe people can be kind and accountable, ambitious and service-minded, professional and human.

As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for someone who can help us grow without losing who we are.
