We’re looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Auto Glass Technicians. If you enjoy learning how things work, working with tools, solving problems, or working on cars, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

No previous auto glass or automotive experience is necessary. We’ll teach you the skills you need to get started!

You’ll learn how to repair and replace automotive glass, use professional tools and equipment, and help get vehicles safely back on the road. Whether you’re starting your first job, exploring a hands-on career, or looking for a change from retail, food service, or other customer-facing work, we’re interested in people who are ready to learn.

Why You’ll Love This Job

  • Learn a skilled trade: Get hands-on training in automotive glass repair and replacement.

  • No experience needed: Start with the basics and develop your skills step by step.

  • Work with your hands: Learn to use tools, work on vehicles, and solve practical problems.

  • See what you accomplish: Take pride in completing work that makes a real difference for customers.

  • Build valuable experience: Develop technical, mechanical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

  • Grow professionally: Build your abilities and take on more advanced responsibilities as you gain experience.

  • Work as part of a team: Learn from experienced technicians who can help you develop your skills.

As an Entry-Level Auto Glass Technician, you’ll receive training and guidance while learning to:

  • Assist with automotive windshield repair and replacement.

  • Learn how to remove damaged glass and prepare vehicles for replacement glass.

  • Use specialized tools, equipment, and materials involved in auto glass installation.

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces and follow proper installation procedures.

  • Learn the correct handling, positioning, and installation of automotive glass.

  • Understand the importance of proper adhesives, curing times, and installation standards.

  • Assist with recalibration procedures for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), where applicable.

  • Follow safety procedures to protect yourself, your coworkers, and customers.

  • Inspect completed work to help ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

You’ll learn progressively, with supervision and training appropriate to your experience and demonstrated skills.

You don’t need to be a mechanic or have previous auto glass experience. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys hands-on work and learning practical skills.

  • Is interested in cars, automotive technology, tools, or mechanical work.

  • Is dependable, punctual, and ready to learn.

  • Pays attention to details and takes pride in doing things correctly.

  • Can follow instructions and work safely.

  • Is comfortable working with a team and communicating with customers.

  • Is willing to learn new techniques and accept coaching.

  • Can meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Previous experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.

Experience working on cars, doing DIY projects, using tools, or completing hands-on technical training is helpful, but not required.

Training and Career Development

We understand that everyone starts somewhere. Our goal is to help you build a strong foundation in the auto glass industry.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced team members, develop practical repair and installation skills, and become more confident with the tools, techniques, and procedures used in the trade.

As your skills and experience grow, you may be able to progress into more advanced technician responsibilities, including independent installations, advanced glass systems, and additional technical training.
