• Collaborate with educators to develop and implement strategies that enhance social-emotional learning in early childhood settings.
• Provide expert guidance and support to teachers, helping them integrate mental health practices into their daily routines.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify the mental health needs of children and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff to build their capacity in fostering nurturing and supportive environments.
• Work closely with families to offer insights and resources that promote children's mental well-being at home and in school.
• Maintain detailed records of consultations and interventions, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of mental health programs and services.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health or counseling field required
• Licensed or licensed-eligible clinicians preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with young children (birth to age five) and/or families with young children
• Experience coaching, training, mentoring, or teaching adult learners
• Working knowledge of typical and atypical early childhood development, as well as infant and early childhood mental health principles and practices
• Must obtain endorsement from the New York State Association of Infant Mental Health (NYSAIMH) within one (1) year of employment.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally across Long Island as needed
• Experience working within early childhood settings preferred
