Our busy hotels are seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. This person will oversee maintenance at our City Express by Marriott Louisville Southeast & Hampton Inn Louisville-East hotels, both located off the Blankenbaker exit.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria
Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours

Qualifications

2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
Experience with facilities management software is preferred
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED

Compensation

$52,000 - $55,000/year
