Sniff San Francisco is one of the city's highest-rated dog care companies, providing premium dog walking, training, and boarding services for 14 years. We're looking for energetic, dependable, dog-loving people to join our team.

This is an entry-level role with paid training, professional development, and a clear path to leadership for the right candidate.

Customer service is the name of the game, strong communication skills, and desire to be an allied team member are key. Did you say "Team Sport..?" Unlike your average Dog Walking or Pet Care company we operate as a team.

Hospitality industry experience is highly desirable.

What You'll Do

• Lead structured group walks throughout San Francisco

• Reinforce positive behaviors using reward-based training methods

• Help dogs build confidence through play, socialization, and enrichment

• Ensure the safety and well-being of every dog in your care

• Communicate with teammates and clients enthusiastically and professionally

• Work outdoors in all weather while exploring the city on foot

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• Passionate about dogs and animal behavior

• Reliable, punctual, and accountable

• Friendly, articulate, and client-focused

• Comfortable walking several miles each day (we operate on foot!)

• Happy working outdoors year-round, rain or shine

• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude

• Excited to learn and grow professionally

• No animal care experience is preferred. Zero, zip, zilch.

What Makes Sniff Different

We don't believe in simply supervising dogs—we actively engage with them.

Our small dog-to-human ratios allow us to coach, train, and interact with every dog throughout the walk. Our walkers work as a team, so you're never alone at the park, and every outing is an opportunity to strengthen behavior, confidence, and social skills.

Reducing our carbon pawprint, is also important. We walk which keeps our air clean; source local, ecologically sustainable products, that are recycled, compostable, or renewable; and properly dispose of waste, leaving parks cleaner than when we arrive.
