Kimbrough Family Law • Austin, TX, US
Posted 22 days ago
Families come to us during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We need a leader who knows how to reach them, earn their trust, and turn that trust into growth.
Kimbrough Family Law is a growing firm built on a simple belief: people going through divorce, custody, and other family transitions deserve guidance that is skilled, compassionate, and clear. We’re looking for a results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our team, sharpen our brand, and build a client acquisition engine that scales with our ambitions.
This isn’t a “keep the lights on” role. You’ll partner directly with our CEO and Founder and our COO to shape the firm’s growth strategy, then take complete ownership of sales and marketing execution: leading the people, building the systems, and answering for the numbers.
Why Employees Thrive with Us:

Competitive Bonus Structure to Reward Excellence
Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance

Positive Work Environment that Values Integrity and Collaboration
Why Kimbrough
A true strategic seat: work side by side with the CEO/Founder and COO, with direct influence on the firm’s direction and growth.
Complete ownership of sales and marketing, with the authority to build and the resources to execute.
A leadership team that values operational excellence, transparency, and accountability.
Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
A mission that matters: helping families move forward.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with the CEO/Founder and COO to set growth priorities, align sales and marketing with firm-wide strategy, and help shape where Kimbrough goes next.
Lead, coach, and develop our sales and marketing team with clear goals, consistent accountability, and a culture of winning together.
Own the full client acquisition funnel, from lead generation and intake to retention and client experience, and close the gaps that cost us business.
Turn data into decisions, reporting results and recommendations to firm leadership.
Sales Ownership
Take complete ownership of the sales function, from first inquiry to signed engagement, with full accountability for revenue targets.
Build, lead, and scale a high-performing intake and sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Design and refine a consultative sales process that converts leads into retained clients while honoring the sensitivity of each family’s situation.
Set sales goals, forecasts, and quotas, and hold the team accountable through clear metrics and regular performance reviews.
Track and improve key conversion points: lead response time, consult booking rate, consult-to-retain ratio, and revenue per client.
Own the CRM and sales pipeline, keeping the data clean, current, and useful for leadership decisions.
Work with attorneys so handoffs from sales to legal teams are seamless and clients feel supported from day one.
Marketing Strategy
Develop a data-driven marketing strategy that positions Kimbrough as the trusted name in family law across our markets.
Define our brand voice and messaging so every touchpoint, from website to social to intake calls, reflects the compassion and expertise families expect.
Build a balanced channel mix across SEO, paid search, social, content, reputation management, and referral partnerships, and shift budget toward what performs.
Identify the client segments and practice areas with the most growth potential, and tailor campaigns to reach them at the right moment.
Create a referral partner program with therapists, financial advisors, mediators, and other professionals who serve families in transition.
Set marketing KPIs and budgets, measure attribution across channels, and report ROI to leadership.
Track market trends and competitor activity so Kimbrough stays first in mind when families need help.
What You Bring
5+ years of sales and/or marketing leadership experience, ideally in legal services, professional services, or another high-trust, consultative industry.
A proven record of meeting and exceeding growth targets, with the numbers to show it.
Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
Strong command of digital marketing, CRM systems, and marketing analytics.
Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution: you can build the plan and make it happen.
The ability to sell with empathy. Our clients are often in crisis, and the way we engage them matters.
Who Thrives Here
You’re a builder, not a maintainer. You own outcomes instead of making excuses. You’re coachable and you coach others. You communicate directly, follow through, and treat your team and clients with respect. Most of all, you care that the work we do changes lives.
Compensation
$85,000-$100,000
