A growing real estate organization is seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Growth/Team Leader to lead its Columbia, South Carolina operation.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who wants to make a measurable difference in agent productivity, recruiting, retention, culture, and overall business growth.

The Opportunity
As Team Leader, you will play a central role in driving the growth and performance of the organization.
You will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to translate the company's vision into action while creating an environment where agents and staff can do their best work.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being in the middle of the action—recruiting exceptional talent, coaching agents, leading meetings, analyzing business performance, developing people, and creating momentum.
You won't simply manage a team.
You'll help build the organization and its future.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years of real estate sales experience and a history of strong individual production and/or leadership within a real estate organization.
Leadership experience within a large brokerage environment is a plus, but exceptional leadership ability and a proven record of results matter most.
Compensation & Benefits
On-Target Earnings: $80,000–$200,000+

Develop and execute strategies to attract high-quality real estate professionals.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective agents.
Conduct recruiting conversations, interviews, and follow-up.
Identify opportunities to increase agent count and market share.
Develop creative strategies for attracting experienced and emerging talent.
Monitor recruiting activity, conversion rates, and retention.
Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective agents.
Coach & Develop Agents
Coach agents toward increased productivity and profitability.
Work closely with high-performing agents to help them reach their next level.
Help agents identify opportunities, establish goals, and create action plans.
Conduct accountability and performance conversations.
Identify obstacles affecting agent performance and help develop solutions.
Encourage continuous professional and business development.
Help agents build sustainable businesses rather than simply chasing individual transactions.
Lead the Organization
Lead regular sales, business, and leadership meetings.
Establish clear expectations and reinforce accountability.
Create an environment centered around collaboration, growth, and professional excellence.
Communicate organizational priorities clearly and consistently.
Partner with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
Serve as a visible and trusted leader within the organization.
Develop future leaders and empower others to take ownership.
Analyze Performance & Business Metrics
Monitor key performance indicators related to recruiting, retention, productivity, and profitability.
Review financial reports and business performance regularly.
Identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.
Use data to make informed business decisions.
Develop strategies to improve overall organizational performance.
Balance growth initiatives with financial discipline.
Develop Staff & Leadership
Coach and mentor administrative and support staff.
Provide ongoing feedback and professional development.
Help team members establish goals and improve performance.
Build a culture where people understand how their role contributes to the organization's success.
Recognize and develop emerging leaders.

Required
2–3+ years of professional real estate sales experience.
Demonstrated success in real estate production and/or leadership.
Proven ability to recruit, influence, and develop people.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional coaching and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
High level of accountability and personal initiative.
Ability to analyze business metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking abilities.
Proficiency with standard business technology and CRM systems.
Ability to lead meetings, presentations, and group discussions confidently.
Preferred
Previous real estate leadership or management experience.
Experience recruiting and onboarding real estate agents.
Experience coaching high-producing agents.
Familiarity with brokerage operations and real estate business models.
Experience managing or interpreting P&L statements and financial reports.
Experience leading a sales organization or professional services team.
