The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of The Siegel Law Group and ensuring that the firm's objectives, systems, and departmental goals are executed effectively. This role partners closely with firm leadership to improve efficiency, drive accountability, enhance the client experience, and support the firm's continued growth.


The Operations Director serves as a key operational leader, working closely with department managers and supervisors to ensure consistent performance, process adherence, and achievement of firm-wide objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the firm and ensure departments are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead, coach, and support department managers and supervisors to drive accountability, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor department productivity, workflow capacity, and service delivery standards.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on departmental KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Analyze operational performance data and recommend improvements to efficiency, productivity, and client service.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and department leaders regarding staffing needs, workforce planning, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and department leaders regarding employee performance concerns, corrective actions, disciplinary matters, and termination decisions.
  • Ensure departments maintain appropriate staffing levels, productivity standards, and workload distribution.
  • Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, workflows, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive implementation and adoption of technology, software platforms, and operational systems.
  • Monitor compliance with firm policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, operational reviews, and department accountability meetings.
  • Support budgeting efforts by monitoring departmental expenses, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, operational contracts, and third-party service providers.
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives, growth projects, and organizational improvements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and improve the client experience throughout all stages of the client journey.
  • Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and performance summaries for firm leadership.

Lead special projects and initiatives assigned by firm leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Human Resources, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive operational leadership experience.
  • Experience leading managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, process improvement, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching abilities.
  • Proficiency with business technology platforms, reporting tools, and operational systems.
  • Professional services or law firm experience preferred.

Compensation

$100,000 - $120,000/year
