We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized Director of Human Resources to join the award-winning Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruiting, onboarding, and training, while playing a key role in strategic planning and business administration. This position plays a pivotal role in creating and ensuring a positive and inclusive work culture, while ensuring that the property is in compliance with the most recent employment laws.
Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players.
- Fill out paperwork, internal documents, reports, and records with high accuracy
- Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements
- Review and advise on organizational policies, decision-making, and strategic planning for business administration and the annual budget
- Act as the bridge between employees and managers and offer advice on key issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
- Manage human resources programs including employee benefits, training, and company evaluation and compensation
PHR Certification preferred
Proven ability in leadership, fostering employee development and teamwork across departments to ensure delivery of outstanding customer service
Service-oriented and detail-focused with an approachable, friendly demeanor
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business management, HR management or similar major
- Candidates should be excellent leaders and communicators with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years as an HR manager, senior HR generalist, or in an upper-level HR position
Compensation
$95,000 - $110.000 yearly

It is a part of the Adelphi Owner Group, which manages luxury hotels, restaurants, and hospitality properties.
