We’re hiring a dental hygienist who can help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients! You’ll conduct preliminary dental exams, help dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile. Responsibilities

Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated
Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily
Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride
Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Current CPR certification
At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
Capable of standing all day to assist patients
