In this role, you’ll perform routine cleanings as well as periodontal care, while ensuring each patient feels comfortable and truly valued throughout their visit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about patient care and education. • Perform comprehensive periodontal cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to support optimal gum health
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease before, during, and after treatment
• Take and review dental radiographs to assist in evaluating bone levels and periodontal conditions
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including periodontal charting and updated health histories
• Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care techniques, and the importance of ongoing maintenance
• Monitor and document changes in periodontal health, reporting findings to the doctor as needed
• Apply preventive treatments as appropriate to support long-term oral health
• Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment

• Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
