Couples Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, Psy.D., Ph.D.) - Self-Pay
Do you genuinely LOVE working with couples?
We're looking for a therapist who doesn't merely tolerate couples on their caseload.
We want someone who really likes working with couples, is good at it, and wants to make couples therapy a significant part of their practice.
Integrity Psychological Services is looking for a Pennsylvania-licensed therapist to join our boutique group practice with a particular focus on private-pay couples therapy for high-functioning, high-achieving couples.
These are couples who are generally functioning well in the rest of their lives. They're professionals, business owners, executives, physicians, and others who are accustomed to investing in quality services and are looking for a therapist who can help them make meaningful changes in their relationship—not someone who is simply going to sit back and listen to them argue.
We want a therapist who can bring expertise, structure, and practical tools into the room.
What makes this position different?
No insurance. No credentialing. No fighting with insurance companies.
This is a private-pay position, so you won't spend your time worrying about insurance authorizations, credentialing panels, denied claims, or whether an insurance company thinks couples therapy is medically necessary.
Instead, you'll work with clients who have specifically chosen to seek out a therapist with expertise in couples work.
You'll have the autonomy of private practice without having to build and manage the entire practice yourself.
Integrity Psychological Services handles the administrative and business side of things—scheduling, billing, client communications, marketing support, and the other back-end tasks that tend to make private practice feel less like therapy and more like running a small corporation.
You get to focus on being the therapist.
We think clinicians do their best work when they are able to develop their own clinical strengths and build a practice around the clients they genuinely enjoy working with. That's exactly what we're hoping to do with this position: build a strong private-pay couples practice around someone who really knows and loves couples therapy.
This position may be a great fit for you if:
You genuinely enjoy working with couples. Seriously. If couples are your least favorite clients, this probably isn't the job for you.
You have meaningful experience providing couples therapy and feel confident working with relationship dynamics, communication problems, conflict, intimacy, trust, and other common couples issues.
You have specialized training in the Gottman Method, EFT for couples, or another established couples-therapy approach. Formal training is strongly preferred.
You enjoy working with high-functioning, psychologically-minded clients who are motivated to make changes and willing to invest in themselves and their relationships.
You are comfortable being active and directive in your work. We believe therapy should involve more than nodding sympathetically while people talk.
You are professional, responsive, organized, and able to manage your own schedule.
You value consultation and collaboration with other experienced clinicians, even though you enjoy the autonomy of private practice.
You are willing and able to work evenings. This is important. Our couples are working professionals, and evening availability is essential to building this caseload.
You hold an active Pennsylvania clinical license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, Ph.D., Psy.D.). We cannot provide supervision for licensure.
If this sounds like you...
We'd love to meet you.
We're not looking for someone who can do couples therapy.
We're looking for someone who wants to be known for being really good at it.
If that's you, we'd love to hear from you!
Compensation
$250 - $275 per session
