Licensed Counselor / Therapist – Make a Meaningful Impact

The New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches is a non-denominational Christian organization providing residential care, foster placement, and outpatient counseling services. We support both youth placed at The Ranches and families working to prevent out-of-home placement for their teens.
We are seeking a licensed Counselor/Therapist to join our team at our location just south of Belen, New Mexico.

Location Requirement
This position is based near Belen, NM. Candidates must reside locally or within the state of New Mexico.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling to adolescents and their families
- Deliver services without insurance billing requirements, allowing you to focus on client care, not productivity quotas
- Provide case management support to foster families and youth in their care
- Maintain accurate and timely program documentation and files
- Assist with recruiting, training, and qualifying prospective foster parents
- Learn and conduct S.A.F.E. home studies and required updates
- Provide community education and outreach programs as needed
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Current New Mexico licensure (LMHC, LPCC, MSW, LISW, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including interviewing and crisis intervention
- Ability to provide a variety of therapeutic modalities with creativity and flexibility
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, collaborative team environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required background checks
Preferred (Not Required)
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- A.F.E. home study certification (or willingness to complete training upon hire)
Schedule Flexibility
- Schedule is flexible based on client needs
- Some evening hours may be required
- Occasional on-call responsibilities may apply

Compensation
- $46,000 – $60,000 annually (DOE), depending on experience and licensure level
- Higher range available for independently licensed clinicians
