Content Manager
OWN Real Estate • Millbrae, CA, US
Posted 5 hours ago
We're hiring a full-time Content Manager to run Studio 1651, the in-house media team at OWN Real Estate. We publish across multiple YouTube channels, Instagram, TikTok, newsletters, and our website, and we're launching new channels and series all the time. You'll own the calendar, keep the team on schedule, and make sure high-volume, on-brand content goes out every week.
This is a leadership role, not a posting role. You'll manage a team of editors, videographers, and coordinators, and you'll be the person who turns a big idea list into published content that actually brings in clients.
About Us
OWN Real Estate is a ~20-agent residential brokerage in Millbrae, affiliated with Keller Williams, doing $200M+ in annual volume across San Francisco and Northern San Mateo County. Founder Wilson Leung has closed 1,500+ transactions over 15+ years.
Studio 1651 is our in-house media agency, named after our office at 1651 El Camino Real. Content isn't a side project here. It's how we win listings. We run a growing network of channels covering personal brand, brokerage brand, Bay Area local news and community, property walkthroughs, market reports, and SEO content for our website. Short-form and long-form, video and written.
We use AI and automation heavily for research, scripting, and publishing. You'll be working alongside those systems, not around them.
Details
Location: On-site at our Millbrae office (1651 El Camino Real), plus shoots across SF and the Peninsula
Schedule: Full-time, W-2. Some early mornings or weekends for shoots and open houses.
Reports to: Wilson Leung, Founder
Pay: $65,000-$75,000 plus performance bonus tied to output and lead growth.
Perks: Company equipment, studio access, and a front-row seat to how a top-producing brokerage builds its brand
What you'll own
Content strategy and calendar
Own the content calendar across every channel we run and set weekly output goals with Wilson
Help launch and grow new channels, series, and formats as we expand
Turn ideas, market data, local news, and listings into a steady flow of content
Production management
Run the pipeline from idea to script to shoot to edit to publish, with clear owners and deadlines at each step
Schedule shoots with agents, clients, and Wilson, in studio and on location
Review content before it goes live for quality, branding, and compliance (DRE number, brokerage disclosures, fair housing)
Manage our studio space and equipment
Growth and reporting
Track performance across platforms and send a short weekly report: what worked, what didn't, what we're changing
Test new formats, hooks, titles, and thumbnails, and double down on what works
Community and leads
Oversee DM and comment management, filter real buyer and seller leads, and route them to the right agent fast
Protect the brand voice: direct, local, data-driven, no fluff
Agent content program
Help OWN agents create their own content under our agent content guidelines
Track footage ownership and posting rules across the team
The team you'll lead
You'll report directly to Wilson and manage the production team day-to-day. Wilson stays on camera and sets direction; you run the machine
Video editors: long-form and short-form editing, in-house and remote
Videographers: shoot in studio, at properties, and on location
Content coordinators: scheduling, posting, filming, and first-pass DMs
Freelancers: overflow help during big content pushes
You'll run a daily check-in, a weekly team meeting, and one-on-ones. You'll also help us decide who to hire next as the studio grows.
What success looks like
First 30 days: learned every channel and workflow, met each team member, and took over the content calendar from Wilson
First 90 days: hit our weekly output goals with zero missed posts, launched a weekly performance report, and cut Wilson's time on content logistics to near zero
First 6 months: grew views and followers across channels, produced a measurable lift in inbound leads from content, and built SOPs so the studio runs without you in the room

Highly organized. You live in project boards and spreadsheets, and nothing falls through the cracks.
