Birch Craft Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Exterior Carpenter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential exterior construction who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and communicates well with coworkers and clients.

• Perform residential exterior carpentry work according to project plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Construct, repair, and remodel decks, porches, stairs, railings, and other exterior structures.
• Complete wood framing and structural carpentry for additions, renovations, and exterior repairs.
• Install and repair fencing, gates, and related exterior components.
• Install siding, fascia, soffit, exterior trim, and related finish materials.
• Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and composite materials.
• Identify damaged or deteriorated materials and communicate recommended repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other crew members to keep projects on schedule.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent Birch Craft Construction in a positive manner.

• Proven experience in residential carpentry or exterior construction.
• Strong experience in at least one of the following areas: Framing, Deck construction, Fence installation, Siding installation, Exterior trim, fascia, or soffit
• Experience in multiple exterior carpentry areas is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read measurements, plans, drawings, and basic construction details.
• Knowledge of proper building methods, fastening systems, flashing, weatherproofing, and exterior installation practices.
• Ability to complete work accurately with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, roofs, and elevated work areas.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and professional communication skills.
• Must provide basic personal hand tools appropriate for the position.
