Commercial Construction Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the daily field operations of commercial construction projects. You will coordinate subcontractors and vendors, plan upcoming work, enforce safety and quality expectations, and keep the project team informed of progress and issues that require action.
Reporting to the assigned Project Manager, you will serve as the company's on-site representative and take ownership of a safe, organized, and productive jobsite. This role requires a proactive field leader who anticipates problems, holds subcontractors accountable, and follows through on commitments from project start-up through closeout.
At our Company, the Superintendent has a direct role in how each project is delivered. You will work closely with the Project Manager, lead daily field coordination, and see the results of your planning and leadership as projects move from start-up to completion. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, clear communication, and a well-run jobsite.

Coordinate job trailers, temporary utilities, dumpsters, sanitation, site access, and other services; assist with project signage and job camera setup.
Lead subcontractor pre-construction meetings and coordinate with local officials to prepare the site for work.
Field Leadership and Schedule Management
Direct daily field activities and coordinate trade sequencing, manpower, equipment, and deliveries to maintain critical-path progress.
Maintain weekly look-ahead schedules with the Project Manager, identify upcoming constraints, and coordinate corrective action when work falls behind.
Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings, establish clear expectations, and follow up on production and performance commitments.
Walk the project daily to verify progress, plan upcoming activities, and address coordination, safety, and workmanship issues.
Quality Control and Project Coordination
Review plans, specifications, approved submittals, and revisions before installation; verify that work meets project requirements and contract scope.
Identify drawing conflicts and unclear details early, and coordinate requests for information with the Project Manager before affected work proceeds.
Coordinate jurisdictional inspections and third-party testing before work is covered or subsequent activities begin.
Document potential changes, unforeseen conditions, and out-of-scope work; coordinate direction and authorization with the Project Manager.
Safety Documentation and Closeout
Maintain a clean, organized jobsite; enforce company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements, and address unsafe conditions promptly.
Conduct weekly toolbox talks, maintain required safety signage and supplies, and collect subcontractor safety data sheets and safety documentation.
Keep daily reports, photos, meeting records, safety forms, incident reports, and other required documentation current in Procore.
Track deficiencies, rework, and punch-list items through completion; coordinate final inspections and support an orderly project turnover.
Experience managing commercial construction projects as a Superintendent or in a comparable field leadership role, with the ability to coordinate work from mobilization through closeout.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings, specifications, and approved submittals.
Working knowledge of construction sequencing, trade coordination, jobsite safety, quality control, and inspection requirements.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and basic scheduling tools; ability to maintain accurate digital project records.
OSHA 30 certification and Procore certification, or the ability to obtain shortly after hire.
Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to address subcontractor performance issues professionally.
A consistent record of follow-through, attention to detail, and timely communication with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors.
Compensation
$90,000 - $130,000 yearly
