The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations of high-end residential construction and renovation projects. This role oversees scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety, and execution of work in accordance with plans, specifications, and company standards. The superintendent is accountable for job-site performance from start to finish.

  • Manage daily on-site construction activities for luxury residential projects

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and material deliveries

  • Update and maintain the project schedule to accurately reflect real-time field conditions, progress, and sequencing changes

  • Review construction documents, plans, and specifications prior to and during construction

  • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety requirements, and company standards

  • Perform daily site walks to verify quality, progress, and cleanliness

  • Identify, document, and resolve field issues and constructability conflicts

  • Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and inspectors

  • Maintain accurate job site documentation, including daily logs, photos, and punch lists

  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite

  • Assist with punch list completion and final project closeout

  • Communicate field conditions, delays, and issues to the project manager

  • Verify installations meet plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements

  • Inspect high-end finishes, including cabinetry, stone, tile, millwork, and fixtures

  • Hold subcontractors accountable for workmanship and the correction of deficiencies

  • Protect finished work and client property throughout construction

  • Proven experience in luxury or high-end residential construction and renovations

  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings

  • Knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities simultaneously

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Professional, firm, and accountable leadership style

Compensation

$65,000 - $90,000 yearly
