Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent. Our ideal candidate has 5 years of construction field experience who can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times.

Responsibilities

Consult with the project's stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within budget
Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner
Hire subcontractors and verify that they have all the required permits
Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed
Submit a plan for homeowners that includes a cost estimate for the job

Qualifications

Finished training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
Must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role
Must have general contractor license
Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software

Compensation

$125,000 - $150,000 based on experience
