Sitework Superintendent

Nashville Siteworks, LLC | Middle Tennessee

Nashville Siteworks is a general contractor specializing in sitework, masonry, pool construction, landscaping, and concrete. We’re looking for a hands-on Sitework Superintendent to coordinate field operations and keep projects organized, moving, and built to plan.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Be on site daily to oversee active work and coordinate crews and subcontractors.
Review civil plans, construction details, elevations, and project requirements.
Walk through plans and scope with subcontractors, builders, and project teams.
Help prepare field estimates and quantity takeoffs.
Calculate import and export material quantities and track site conditions as work progresses.
Schedule crews, subcontractors, equipment, and deliveries.
Order materials and coordinate delivery timing with the project schedule.
Keep accurate daily logs, including work completed, labor, equipment, delays, and site conditions.
Take and organize job photos to document progress and field conditions.
Communicate schedule updates, issues, and needed decisions promptly.

Require complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possible
Recruit subcontractors and make sure they have all of the necessary permits
Prepare a written proposal for homeowners that includes a cost estimate for the project
Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed
Keep a daily record of project progress and home improvements for the project manager and the homeowner

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Experience supervising site work or construction projects.
Ability to read and understand civil plans, elevations, and construction details.
Practical understanding of grading, excavation, drainage, and material quantities.
Confidence performing field measurements and quantity takeoffs.
Strong organization and communication skills.
A dependable, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in the field.
Familiarity with daily reporting and job photo documentation.
Must be able to read plans and use a laser level.

Excellent leadership, time-management, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
Minimum 5 years work experience as a general contractor needed, with additional management experience being preferred

Compensation

$90,000 - $120,000 yearly
