About Soar Therapy & Integrative Wellness
Soar Therapy & Integrative Wellness is a culturally responsive, collaborative group practice committed to providing care that goes beyond symptom management. We believe clients’ current struggles make more sense when we understand the stories, relationships, experiences, and patterns that shaped them.
Our clinicians practice from an attachment-informed lens, helping clients explore the connection between their past experiences and the patterns that continue to show up in their relationships, behaviors, emotions, and sense of self. Our goal is transformative care—helping clients not only feel better, but also develop greater insight, create healthier patterns, and experience meaningful, lasting change.
We are also building more than a group of clinicians who provide individual therapy. We are creating a professional community where clinicians collaborate, learn from one another, share ideas, and bring creativity to the way mental health care is delivered. We value clinicians who are curious and interested in expanding beyond traditional one-to-one therapy through groups, workshops, community education, consultation, and other innovative approaches to care.
Our team values cultural responsiveness and recognizes that identity, culture, family, relationships, and lived experiences all influence the stories clients carry.
Our core values—Humility with Confidence, Reliability, Thirst for Knowledge, Solution-Focused, and Community Impact—guide how we care for clients, work with one another, and contribute to our community.
We are looking for a Clinical Lead who believes in the power of relationships, understands the importance of the stories behind clients’ patterns, and wants to help build a clinical community where both clients and clinicians can grow.
Who You Are
You are a clinically strong therapist who can support other clinicians while also holding them accountable.
You communicate clearly, follow through consistently, and feel comfortable providing direct, constructive feedback. When you identify a problem, you don't simply pass it along—you think clinically, determine what needs to happen next, and collaborate when you need additional support.
You enjoy teaching, mentoring, and helping developing clinicians become more confident and independent.
What You’ll Do
Maintain an average of approximately 23 completed clinical sessions per week
Provide high-quality, evidence-informed psychotherapy
Provide individual supervision to Residents in Counseling
Facilitate weekly 90-minute clinical case consultations
Review clinical documentation and provide timely, constructive feedback
Support clinicians with case conceptualization, treatment planning, risk assessment, and challenging clinical situations
Monitor supervisee development and help clinicians strengthen their clinical skills and independence
Partner with the Clinical Director around clinical quality, clinician development, and performance concerns
Participate in occasional clinician interviews and onboarding
Complete documentation according to practice and payer requirements
Compensation
This is a full-time W-2 productivity-based position that separately compensates clinical care and Clinical Lead responsibilities.
Estimated annual earning potential of approximately $98,000–$102,000+ when maintaining expected clinical productivity and Clinical Lead responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Active Virginia LPC license in good standing
Current Virginia Board-Approved Supervisor status
Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
Experience providing clinical supervision
Strong clinical documentation and case conceptualization skills
Strong communication, organization, reliability, and follow-through
Ability to balance independent clinical judgment with collaboration
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced, clinically strong leader who can support other clinicians' development while maintaining high standards for clinical care, documentation, and professional accountability.
The ideal candidate will bring:
Strong clinical judgment, case conceptualization, assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills
Excellent clinical documentation skills, with a strong understanding of medical necessity, clinical integrity, and documentation standards
Demonstrated ability to develop clinicians through supervision, consultation, feedback, and professional mentorship
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide clear, direct, and supportive feedback while maintaining accountability and psychological safety
The confidence to navigate challenging clinical and performance conversations with professionalism, curiosity, and respect

The ability to identify what requires immediate attention, what can be delegated or scheduled, and when escalation or collaboration with the Clinical Director is appropriate
A collaborative leadership style that encourages clinicians to strengthen their clinical judgment, confidence, and independence
Reliability, follow-through, initiative, and the ability to work independently without requiring extensive day-to-day direction
Curiosity and a commitment to continued learning, professional development, and high-quality clinical care
