Seeking a Driven and Empathetic Client Engagement Specialist

Are you a skilled consultative sales professional who excels at building trust, uncovering needs, and guiding people toward the right solutions?

Lunn Law LLC is a growing, client-centered law firm focused on family law, estate planning, and probate matters. We are seeking an experienced Client Engagement Specialist to serve as a critical point of contact for our Potential New Clients (PNCs). In this role, you will listen to their stories, connect them to our firm’s value, and help them take the vital steps toward resolving their legal matters.

This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven professional who thrives on structured follow-up, consultative selling, and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing delicate personal matters, mapping out engagement strategies, and seamlessly transitioning new clients to our legal team.

If you are energized by closing the gap between a prospective client’s problem and our firm's solution, and you want to play a meaningful role in helping people through important life transitions, we would love to meet you.

The Role

This position is responsible for driving the firm's revenue and client acquisition by managing the entire intake and conversion process. Your mission is to actively follow up with PNCs, create strategic engagement plans, secure signed agreements, and ensure every new client experiences a warm, thorough onboarding process.

Compensation

  • Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per year

  • Type: Full-time, hybrid (40 hours per week).

  • Bonus: Monthly bonus opportunities tied to meeting KPIs established for the position.

We believe great work happens when people feel supported, trusted, and equipped to succeed. Here are a few of the perks you can expect at Lunn Law LLC:

  • Health coverage: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options.

  • 401(k) with matching: Save for the future with a company-sponsored retirement plan and employer match.

  • Life Insurance: Employer-provided coverage for added peace of mind.

  • Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO): Recharge with paid time away from work.

  • Paid Parental Leave: We support new parents by providing paid leave to bond with their child and balance work and family life.

  • Short-Term Disability: If you encounter a medical issue that prevents you from working temporarily, our short-term disability coverage will provide essential financial support.

  • Military Leave: We honor and support our employees who serve or have served, offering leave for active-duty military service or related responsibilities.

  • Meaningful work: Help clients through pivotal family law, estate planning, and probate matters that genuinely change lives.

  • Process-minded culture: We value clarity, accountability, and documented procedures.

  • Team environment: Collaborate with professionals who care about clients and about doing things the right way.

How to Apply

We are committed to helping individuals grow, but we require an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running from day one with minimal training. Attention to detail is critical in this role. Please carefully follow the application instructions below so we can evaluate your fit:

Prepare a cover letter with no more than TWO paragraphs and a closing sentence.

  • Paragraph 1: Explain what you believe are the 3 most important qualities needed in someone who conducts consultative sales for a family law, estate planning, and probate firm, and why.

  • Paragraph 2: Explain why you applied to this particular ad.

Closing Sentence Must read exactly: “I have read the instructions contained in the job posting and have followed the instructions.”

The subject line must be your LAST NAME (all caps), followed by the position you are applying for (lower case), followed by one word that describes you (all caps).

Responsibilities

  • Consultative Sales: Conduct in-depth consultations with PNCs to understand their unique situations, demonstrate empathy, and clearly communicate how the firm can solve their legal issues.

  • PNC Follow-Up & Engagement: Develop and execute strategic follow-up plans to keep PNCs engaged with the firm. Maintain a rigorous and consistent pipeline of communication via phone, email, and text.

  • Agreement Execution: Prepare, send, and follow up on retainer agreements and payment links, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

  • Client Onboarding: Conduct comprehensive onboarding for all newly retained clients. Ensure they understand the next steps, gather initial documentation, and facilitate a smooth, welcoming handoff to the legal team.

  • Pipeline Management: Keep detailed, meticulously updated records of all PNC interactions and conversion metrics within the firm's CRM.
