As a key member of our legal team, you will assist with drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, legal documents, and trial materials; maintain organized and accurate case files; monitor court deadlines and procedural requirements; coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties; and assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation strategy.

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other essential legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible for the legal team.
  • Monitor court deadlines and procedural requirements, proactively managing timelines to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties to facilitate smooth communication and case progression.
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation and litigation strategy, providing valuable insights and support to strengthen our legal approach.
  • Prepare trial materials, ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are ready for presentation in court.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and AI-powered research platforms to support case strategies and provide attorneys with relevant information and precedents.
  • Oversee the e-Discovery process, including document collection, production, and review using platforms like Clio.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation (Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, or Commercial Litigation preferred).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and Word are essential).

  • Expertise in case management and e-Discovery software.

  • Familiarity with 2026 AI legal tools for document summarization and research.

  • Certifications: NALA (CP/ACP) or NFPA (RP) certification is highly preferred.

Compensation

$50,000 - $60,000 yearly
