Job Description: Chimney Sweep

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chimney Sweep to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to clean and inspect chimneys to ensure they are safe and free of debris. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of chimney construction, maintenance, and repair techniques.

Responsibilities:

Clean chimneys using specialized tools and equipment
Inspect chimneys for damage or blockages
Repair minor chimney issues as needed
Provide recommendations for chimney maintenance and repairs
Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Chimney Sweep or in a related field
Knowledge of chimney construction and maintenance techniques
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
Reply to general questions guests have during their stay
Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby

Qualifications

Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques
Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired
