Run a $ 138,000-a-month paid search and local engine for a multi-state law group, and own the revenue scorecard from first touch to retained client.

Martine Law is a family of criminal defense and family law firms in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Texas. About $138K a month in media across Google Local Services Ads, PPC, and directories. Ninety Google Business Profiles. Roughly $3.3M a year in total revenue-engine spend across marketing, intake, and sales. An AI-first content and site stack. An owner who approves decisions in a day.

This is a player-coach seat. You will personally run paid search, analytics, and attribution for the first 180 days. You will have one or two people, not twenty. If you want to manage agencies, this is the wrong job. If you want your hands on the accounts and your name on the number, keep reading.

You own the revenue scorecard from first touch to retained client. You set the metrics, targets, and process for marketing, intake, and sales. Intake and sales keep their current leaders and their people; your authority there is the number, not the org chart. Marketing you run directly, hands-on, with a team you rebuild.

You will not start from zero. A senior practitioner has already consolidated the Ads account, stood up GA4 events, Ahrefs rank tracking, and directional HubSpot attribution, and co-owns your day-60 baseline and first-quarter scorecard with you. You inherit a clean instrument panel and a partner who has already found the problems.

Our hiring process is four steps over about 25 days: a short application, a 45-minute numbers call, a 45-minute technical screen inside a live Google Ads account, a paid $1,500 work sample on our real funnel data under NDA, then a conversation with the owner.

Please be ready to answer these questions:

  1. What is the largest monthly paid search budget you personally managed in the last 24 months, for what category, and what happened to cost per lead under you? (Long answer, required)

  1. Name the worst cost-per-acquisition problem you personally fixed. What did the number go from and to, and what did you change? (Long answer, required)

  1. List the tools you personally logged into last week to run or measure paid search. (Short answer, required)

  1. Are you comfortable with a $150,000 base where a large share of target earnings is performance-based? (Yes/No, required)

  1. Are you authorized to work in the United States and able to work remotely on Central Time business hours? (Yes/No, required)

  • Personally run Google Ads, Local Services Ads, GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs and attribution for the first 180 days, then hire the one or two people who take the daily work

  • Own the revenue scorecard across marketing, intake and sales: set the metrics, targets and process; report the number monthly to ownership

  • Rebuild the marketing function from one or two seats up; no agencies unless you can prove the math

  • Manage and grow 90 Google Business Profiles across three states

  • Hold blended cost per retained client at or below baseline while volume grows; more than double retained clients within 24 months

  • Build the flat-site and AI content stack into a measurable lead source

  • Measure family law case value and revenue per lead, per consultation, per salesperson, per attorney, by market

  • Partner with intake and sales leadership on speed to lead, show rates and conversion; your lever is the metric, theirs is the people

  • Partner with Legal Operations on capacity so we never retain a client we cannot serve

  • Operate inside legal-ethics rules: compensation is tied to aggregate firm performance only, never to individual cases or fees

  • You currently or recently ran $100K+ a month of paid search spend with your own hands, for legal, medical, dental, or another high-trust local service category

  • Google Ads, Local Services Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and a CRM attribution model are tools you open every day, not tools you review

  • You have owned cost per lead and cost per client against a target and can show the before and after

  • You have managed multi-location Google Business Profile portfolios

  • You have built or rebuilt a small marketing team and know the difference between a hire and an agency

  • You have set and enforced funnel metrics for intake or sales teams you did not directly manage

  • Agency senior account director, head of paid, or number-two backgrounds are ideal. Law-firm marketing directors who manage agencies are not the fit.

  • Comfortable in a remote, numbers-first, AI-first environment and with a plan where a large share of your earnings comes from results
