Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet brand expectations.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Inspect and evaluate building systems to identify required maintenance, repairs, or system upgrades.
Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Qualifications

Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience.
Proven leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and performance oversight.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

$18 - $20 hourly
