Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance, greet customers with a smile, and escalate customer complaints to the service advisor to resolve
• Ensure accurate billing records and sales by maintaining control of the cash register and daily cash flow
• Answer questions about costs and services, print receipts, and issue refunds for customers, as needed
• Proactively resolve and reconcile unpaid, declined, or outstanding service payments and document transactions in the dealership computer system
• Provide exemplary customer service while efficiently and professionally fielding phone calls to deliver a positive buyer experience

Qualifications

• Strong cash register, clerical, and basic computer skills are a must
• Should enjoy working with people and display strong customer service skills
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Prior experience as a service cashier or working with money considered a plus
• Fundamental math skills are necessary to successfully calculate payments and fees, reconcile outstanding billing, and issue refunds

Compensation

$12 - $14/hour
