Be the First Conversation That Changes Everything
We are looking for a Case Evaluator to run the first real conversation Truce has with a potential client. Someone reaches out during one of the hardest chapters of their life — you talk with them, understand what they need, and help them decide whether a Legal Roadmap Session with one of our senior attorneys is the right next step.
At Truce Law, we are not a traditional litigation firm. We are an amicable-first family law firm focused on helping people resolve some of the most difficult moments in their lives with dignity, clarity, and strategy.
This is not a sales-floor role. You don't run a script, you don't cold-call, and you don't sell to people the firm can't help. You follow a proven intake framework, use your judgment, and are coached — not policed — every step of the way.
If you're excited about being the calm, capable voice on someone's hardest day, we'd love to meet you.
Why Join Truce Law
Mission-driven family law practice
The first live human conversation at a firm doing this thing differently
Real coaching built on Gong-scored call review, not phone-script drills
AI-first tooling (Gong, HubSpot, Clio, Claude) that supports you, not replaces you

Medical, Dental, Vision: Employer-paid coverage for employees. This is fully covered — no employee premium contribution required.
Paid Time Off: Four weeks total — three weeks PTO plus a full paid week off for the firm's winter holiday closure.
Paid Holidays: 10 paid holidays annually.
401(k): 3% firm contribution — regardless of employee contribution.
Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA): Firm-funded account for wellness, fitness, and lifestyle expenses.
Professional Development Stipend: Annual stipend to support certifications, training, and continued education.
Firm Technology: Microsoft 365 / Copilot and Claude AI tooling provided. Employer-provided tech package.

Own the Conversation
Conduct roughly 20 case evaluations per week — 45–60 minute calls with potential clients
Follow Truce's Client Sales Process and intake framework
Explain the Legal Roadmap Session
Book qualified prospects into paid Legal Roadmap Sessions with a senior attorney
Route prospects elsewhere when Truce isn't the right fit
Own the Follow-Through
Manage confirmation, preparation, and re-engagement for booked Legal Roadmap Sessions
Complete Clio file setup and hand off cleanly to the legal team upon signing
Close the Retention Loop
Check in with clients two weeks after signing
Flag any friction or red flags to the Client Intake Manager the same day
Who You Are
We want someone invested in the long-term success of the firm.
A Calm, Capable Communicator: You can hold a 45–60 minute conversation with someone in crisis and leave them feeling understood, informed, and ready to take the next step
Fluent in the Truce Voice: Calm authority, plain language, honest hedging where reality requires it. Never fear-based, never wallowing. You describe patterns, not people
A Framework-Driven Operator: You use a proven intake framework and your own judgment to guide each conversation
Coachable and Detail-Oriented: You're comfortable reviewing your own recorded calls, taking specific feedback, and applying it the next week. You keep your pipeline and follow-ups documented in HubSpot and Clio without being chased
Non-Judgmental by Discipline: You describe situations, not people. You don't judge callers or opposing parties — you help people see their options clearly
Comfortable with a Consultative, Non-Cold-Call Sales Process: Every conversation is with someone who reached out first. Experience in legal intake, consultative sales, or a similarly high-touch, high-compliance environment is a plus
Compensation
$55,000 - $70,000 annually
