Join our team at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza as our Business Transient Sales Manager. The Business Travel Sales Manager drives corporate transient and negotiated room revenue for a hotel, resort, or hospitality group by prospecting, securing, and managing corporate accounts.

The Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding room-night and revenue goals through proactive prospecting, corporate account management, and rate negotiations. This role focuses on business transient travelers, consortia, TMCs (Travel Management Companies), and corporate contracts rather than large group conventions.

• New Account Acquisition: Prospect, cold-call, and network to build a pipeline of local and national corporate accounts, government clients, and consortia partners.

• Account Management: Retain and grow existing corporate account portfolios through regular check-ins, business reviews, and relationship building.

• Rate Negotiation & RFPs: Handle corporate Request for Proposals (RFPs), negotiate preferred and negotiated room rates, and manage corporate contracting guidelines.

• Sales Outreach: Conduct outside sales calls, property site inspections, client entertainment, and sales blitzes.

• Market & Yield Analysis: Collaborate with Revenue Management to analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and account production to adjust pricing strategies.

• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain CRM systems, manage trace/follow-up systems, and forecast monthly/quarterly transient revenue.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent with proven hotel/sales experience.

Experience:

• Typically 1 to 3+ years of experience in hotel sales, business transient/corporate sales, or customer relations.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with hotel CRM and property management/sales tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong B2B negotiation, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.

• High self-motivation and organizational skills for managing independent travel and client visits.
