Sul Lee Law Firm, PLLC is a fast-growing, Dallas-based Business, IP, and Corporate Law Firm with a dynamic and enterprising client base—from startups to international corporations. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Business Transaction Attorney (Remote) to join our close-knit team.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly skilled attorney with a strong background in corporate and transactional law and a passion for serving growing businesses. This is a senior-level, primarily remote position offering the opportunity to work directly with firm leadership, mentor junior attorneys, and take the lead on complex transactional matters.
Please Note: This position requires the ability to attend in-person quarterly meetings at our Dallas, Texas office. All other work may be performed remotely.
Lead and manage corporate transactions and M&A, including small mergers and acquisitions, business partnerships, business structuring, and joint ventures.
Draft, review, and negotiate franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements.
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents and other real estate documents.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, operating agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.
Provide strategic legal counsel on governance, compliance, risk management, and growth planning.
Oversee legal due diligence and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on transactional closings.
Advise clients in matters relating to real estate, commercial leases, and business operations.
Contribute to firm development by mentoring junior attorneys and supporting strategic initiatives.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state. Texas licensure is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant legal experience in corporate and business transactions.
Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex commercial and real estate deals.
Strong business acumen and ability to align legal strategy with client objectives.
Experience managing client relationships and supervising legal staff is highly preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, enterprising environment with shifting priorities.
Must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Must be able to attend quarterly in-person meetings in Dallas, Texas.
Compensation
$120,000 - $160,000 yearly DOE
