Business Relationship Manager - Real Estate

Myers House Buyers is a hometown real estate investment company serving the Augusta and Aiken area. We buy houses directly from homeowners who need a fast, simple sale, usually as-is and on their timeline. We close about 75 deals a year, and we're growing.

A lot of our best deals come from real estate agents. They meet sellers every week who need speed and convenience more than top dollar, and we want to be the first call they make.

Job Summary

We're hiring a Business Relationship Manager to own our relationships with real estate agents. You'll bring us closeable contracts two ways: working the agent referrals that come in, and going out to prospect agents and listings for off-market and hard-to-sell deals.

This is a sales role built on relationships. You'll spend most of your week on the phone, in brokerage offices, and at networking events, then run our sales process to turn the right opportunities into signed contracts.

• Prospect real estate agents daily by phone, text, and in person to build a steady base of referral partners.

• Work every inbound agent referral fast, qualify it, and run the appointment and offer.

• Find stale, as-is, and condition-heavy MLS listings and make offers through the listing agent.

• Present to local brokerages on the sellers we help and how we protect the agent's commission and relationship.

• Stay top of mind with agents through a monthly email newsletter and 2 social media posts a week.

• Attend local Realtor association meetings, networking groups, and Chamber events.

• Qualify and disqualify opportunities using our sales process. Not every deal is a fit, and knowing that is part of the job.

• Log every conversation, referral, and deal in our CRM (ReSimpli) the same day.

• Back up our Home Buying Specialists on hot appointments and during time off.

• Track and report your weekly numbers: relationships made, appointments, referrals, and contracts.

• Experience in real estate, sales, business development, or a related field is preferred. No real estate license needed.

• You like picking up the phone, and you're comfortable hearing "no."

• Strong communication and listening skills. You ask good questions and let people talk.

• Self-motivated and organized. You can run your own calendar and hit weekly numbers without being chased.

• Confident, not pushy. You see yourself as a buyer with something to offer, not someone asking for favors.

• Knowledge of distressed property, probate, foreclosure, or investor deals is a plus.

• Reliable transportation and the ability to attend events and meet agents in person around the CSRA.
