Johnson & Wilson Real Estate Company is seeking a full-time Business Development Officer to help grow our company through agent recruiting and strategic relationship development.


The primary responsibility of this role is to recruit licensed real estate agents who are aligned with Johnson & Wilson’s boutique brand, professional standards, innovation, community focus, and growth vision. The secondary responsibility is to help identify, recruit, and build relationships with trusted providers and strategic partners who can serve the broader Johnson & Wilson brand, including real estate, construction, title, development, mortgage, training, client services, and related company initiatives.


This is a direct outreach, relationship-building, business development, and recruiting position. It is not primarily a marketing role, an administrative role, a training role, or an ambassador role. While relationships are important, this position requires consistent daily outreach, follow-up, CRM tracking, appointment setting, and measurable results.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting licensed real estate agents
  • Identifying agents who align with the company’s boutique service model, professionalism, culture, innovation, and growth goals
  • Conducting daily outreach through calls, texts, emails, direct messages, personal contacts, networking, and other approved methods
  • Scheduling and participating in recruiting appointments with prospective agents
  • Communicating the Johnson & Wilson story, value proposition, culture, tools, programs, compensation structure, and growth opportunities
  • Managing all recruiting activity and follow-up in the company CRM
  • Tracking objections, interest level, timing, next steps, and conversion opportunities
  • Preparing a weekly recruiting pipeline report
  • Identifying and recruiting trusted providers and strategic partners for the Johnson & Wilson family of companies
  • Building relationships with preferred vendors, service providers, referral partners, community contacts, and business partners
  • Helping create a trusted provider network that supports the full client experience across real estate, title, construction, development, mortgage, training, and related services
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding company systems, compensation information, recruiting strategy, agent pipeline, vendor relationships, scripts, internal materials, and business information


This role has the opportunity to grow into a higher-level business development, agent growth, or strategic partnerships role based on performance, recruiting results, leadership ability, and long-term fit. After the first 90 days, the employee may qualify for the first raise based on measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Sales, recruiting, business development, vendor relations, partnership development, and relationship-based prospecting experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confidence in making calls and initiating conversations
  • Ability to follow up consistently without being discouraged by rejection
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to use a CRM daily
  • Professional presentation and discretion
  • Ability to work independently with clear goals and accountability
  • Interest in real estate, ventureship, company growth, strategic partnerships, and brand development


A real estate license is not required.

Compensation

$45,000 - $55,000/year
