Valcore Construction is seeking an outgoing, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our network of trusted referral partners throughout Northern Colorado.


This is not a high-pressure sales position. Instead, you'll focus on building and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals, attending networking events, conducting lunch-and-learn presentations, and becoming a trusted resource for agents and brokerages in our community.


The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, is comfortable speaking to groups, and takes initiative to create meaningful professional relationships. You'll spend your time connecting with real estate agents, educating them on topics related to home exteriors and construction, coordinating educational events, and representing the Valcore brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.


This position requires someone who is organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing their schedule independently. You'll have the freedom to build relationships in your own way while helping Valcore become the preferred construction partner for real estate professionals throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, brokerages, property managers, and other strategic referral partners within a 30-mile radius of Loveland
  • Schedule and conduct one-on-one meetings with real estate professionals on a consistent basis
  • Coordinate, promote, and deliver educational lunch-and-learn presentations for real estate offices and industry groups
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and community events to expand Valcore's professional network
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of referral partners and prospective relationships
  • Conduct regular follow-up with existing contacts to strengthen relationships and remain top-of-mind
  • Track all relationship-building activities, meetings, presentations, and follow-up tasks within company systems
  • Create presentations, educational materials, and outreach campaigns that provide value to referral partners
  • Research industry trends, construction topics, and real estate concerns in order to serve as a knowledgeable resource
  • Collaborate with company leadership to identify target markets, brokerages, and growth opportunities
  • Maintain an organized calendar and consistently execute weekly relationship-building activities
  • Meet established activity, relationship development, and business growth goals
  • Represent Valcore Construction with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm at all times

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with a wide variety of people
  • Comfortable speaking one-on-one, presenting to groups, and representing the company at networking and community events
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple relationships and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance and a commitment to representing the Valcore brand with integrity
  • Prior knowledge of construction, home improvement, insurance restoration, and/or real estate transactions is helpful but not required

Compensation

$20 - $25/hour
