Unit Turnovers and General Maintenance. Assist in preparing vacant units for turnover, including patching drywall, sanding, taping, painting, replacing window blinds, changing locks, and re-keying doors.
Work alongside the senior technician to address daily resident work orders. Assist with basic plumbing (unclogging drains, replacing appliances), minor electrical work (swapping switches, outlets, light fixtures), and light carpentry.
Perform property walkthroughs across assigned residential properties. Remove trash, clear common areas, assist with light landscaping, mowing, and clearing snow/ice from walkways.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing HVAC air filters, testing smoke/CO detectors, checking exterior lighting, and assisting with pre-inspections.
Work with residents while maintaining professional customer service.
Other tasks, as required to keep residents HAPPY!
Familiarity with common hand and power tools (drills, snakes, saws) and fundamental knowledge of home repair techniques.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long durations, climb step ladders, and work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to travel between local property locations.
- Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
- Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
Compensation
$45,000 - $50,000 yearly
